What you get

  • Deal spotlights

A regular look at private companies worth understanding, with the round structure and valuation history laid out plainly.

  • Lockups and dilution

What you're actually buying, when you could sell it, and how future rounds could change your ownership.

  • Eligibility up front

Accreditation requirements, minimums and platform mechanics are stated before you go any further.

  • Honest risk framing

Private markets can go to zero and stay illiquid for years. Every spotlight says so out loud.

Access is only half the problem

Plenty of platforms will sell you access to a private round. Far fewer will tell you whether the price makes sense. The club focuses on the second question — comparing the round to public comparables and to the company's own funding history.

Sized as a satellite, never the core

Pre-IPO exposure belongs at the edge of a portfolio, funded with money you can afford to lock up. Every spotlight includes sizing guidance framed that way.

Included in your membership

Pre-IPO coverage rotates through the Lite feed and appears more often for Pro members, alongside stocks, options and crypto in a single membership.

Frequently asked

How do pre-IPO secondaries work?
Existing shareholders — employees or early investors — sell shares before a company lists. Access, pricing and transfer restrictions vary deal by deal, and each spotlight walks through them.
Do I need to be an accredited investor?
Many private deals require accreditation; some crowdfunding offerings do not. Each spotlight states the eligibility rules up front.
What are the risks?
Illiquidity, dilution, lockups and the real possibility of a total loss. Private markets are the highest-risk sleeve of the membership and we treat them that way.
