Billing, upgrades and downgrades
How billing works, what happens when you change plans, and where to find invoices and payment methods.

- Membership & billing in your account menu shows your current plan, renewal date, payment method and invoice history.
- Upgrades apply immediately and are prorated — you get the higher tier the moment payment clears.
- Downgrades apply at the end of the current period, so you keep what you paid for.
- Update your card at any time from the same screen; a failed renewal will retry before access is affected.
Multi-year and promotional plans
Some plans are sold as one-time multi-year purchases or promotional trials. A two-year purchase grants access for exactly two years from the purchase date and then ends. Promotional trials that collect a card convert to the normal price when the trial period finishes, and the renewal date is always shown on your billing screen.
If a comp or a manual plan was applied to your account by our team, it appears on the same billing screen with its end date.
